the book holes is about this boy named Stanley . and his problem is that his family has a curse from his great great grandfather and he is sent to a detention center .its more like a camp for digging holes and Stanley wanted to break the curse so he tries to solve all the clues and mysteries cause he thought that the people where looking for something. along the way he meets these guys named x-ray ,zigzag , magnet , zero but his real name was hector, squid and armpit. so then Stanley escapes and goes to the mountain but then a they come back to dig up the last hole and see if they were lucky and to be true they did they got lucky they found a treasure that said Stanley yelnats but also there was six lizards behind their neck and they were poisones.

cinco de mayo celebration

cinco de mayo is celebrated in the u.s and mexico or the victory of mexico and the help of ignacio zaragosa he was a hero for mexico he was born in texas but went to school in mexico and military there too and he helped with the war against ther french and he was a hero.we celebarate cinco de mayo with food drinks and music

the music comes from the mariachis and they were these special suits with gliter.

ithink its very cool cause you can spend time with ur family and have fun enjoy tamales or home made tortillas with mole its very goo maybe you could try some

i hope you like celebrating this holiday and the actual indipendence of mexico is november 16th 1962 its like 4th of july in mexico very cool .and south west key through a celebration yesterday it was awesome because for the first time i actually got to see mariachis isnt that great yeah .

earth day !!!!!!!!!!

to me earth day is a time of helping the earth by switching energy saving technology like cfl light bulbs or hybrid cars that don't waste that much gas or having car pool. also I'm trying to save energy like turning off the water while brushing my teeth or open a window instead of turning the a.c .I also convinced the owner of my community homes to put a covering on top of the pool instead of waiting for it to go down the drain and putting more water in summer.also I've been doing some community service and also told my friends.I'm starting to use a reusable water bottle and take showers instead of baths I tried composting thing but it didn't work so much the next morning there was maggots every were .so me and my dad started planting flowers and it turned out fun but hard working I'm trying my best to save the earth.if we protect the earth even the little changes we can do it cane turn out to be a huge difference.if eacp a can help so can you

things that make me smile :)

:) there are some thing things that make me smile like when someone gets hurt or I see stuff that is hilarious like my friend Juan laughing in a dumb way or my other friends telling jokes .

or when we play my favorite sport soccer at school we laugh because one of us falls down or somebody gets hit with the ball, like one time we were playing soccer it was group A v.s group D and this kid named Juan .z hit the ball with the back of the head and Elias was behind him and hit him in the face it was funny and we were laughing hard well i was on the floor choking on my laughs . but the most thing is that makes me smile is when this girl Delaney says my girlfriends name jasmine either I blush or smile . now my school problems are starting leave I don't have much problems and now I smile more often . and please don't say her name or else I will star smiling I've been smiling for three days already but if you just want to teas me about it don't do it unless I know you or if its OK . :)

i was in class doing my work when My teacher said i could participate on the school board saying the pledge of allegiance with other student and i said OK id like to
the day came it was February ,15,2009 and me and the other student started to say the pledge allegiance and
•How did it make you feel?
i felt great be cause i felt important and i got to shake the hand of the president of the school board of all a.i.s.d and i wasn't any ordinary kid i was a good kid well that was back in 2009
now thing changed but i still have the certificate i can show you any day.
*how will this moment help you today and in the future?
well i know how i was on tv when this happened so people still might see it on youtube but im not sure but all i know its that i will be recognized for that some day by the kids not just adults

bessie coleman

bessie coleman was born january 1893-1926 in atlanta,and died april 30 1926 jacksonville on june 15 1921 she became the first American woman to have an international pilot's license from the Internationale. In further training in France, she specialized in stunt flying and parachuting, her exploits were captured on films. She returned to the United States where racial and gender biases precluded her becoming a commercial pilot. Stunt flying, or barnstorming, was her only career option.Coleman staged the first public flight by an African American woman in America on Labor Day, September 3, 1922. She was a popular flier at some shows, but she refused to perform before segregated audiences in the South. Speaking at schools and churches, she encouraged blacks interest in aviation she also raised money to found a school to train black aviators. Before she could found her school, however during a rehearsal for an aerial show, the plane carrying Coleman spun out of control, catapulting her 2,000 feet to her death .she died crashing down in an air plane.
